not heard of the clio yet but megane looks great and when tunned you can expect that 6.5 to drop below 6 (maybe 5.8)
as for the clio? well, maybe thats too much power for such a little car? it would also no doubt be insurance group 18-20!!! and prob about 32mpg all for the clio??? to far to streach for most but even then people would never understand how good it was because its a clio. So again the megane will be more distinctive and i would feel safer in that, also with big 18" wheels as standard + bit more weight = more grip (essencial). I just cant see a 225 very chippable to 245bhp in clio when renault already have 255bhp v6. doesnt seem any economical point at the mo. Where as the megane range really could benefit. Take a look at the interior shots of the megane and youl see that its more leon cupra / audi than cheapo clio parts bin. I own a 172mk II and i think that with even 200bhp through 16"wheel tyres and ESP/traction would cause too much torque steer. I do belive a 180bhp version of clio with sports exhuast will probably come out. THen you have a range of cars from 80bhp throught to 255bhp.
