Meguairs...

  Fiesta Silver Limited Ed.
Just bought their matt polish to remove swirls....the one in the blue and lime green tin........bought it for £12.99.....worth every penny !!! Didn't realise how effective a product like this would be !!

Suggested to all who havent used Meguairs before !!

Sounds like NXT paste wax in which casw it will hide swirls rather than remove - does quite a good job too :)

99% of meg's off the shelf products are b****cks imo...Infact...All of them.

ok my question is, if so many people use toher stuff then megs how come its in most shop (that would have it) and not all the other makes? i have used it and no other for about 3 years now and find it great, got most of the range.

  U/R 200
Last time i used 1,2,3 step clean ,polish, wax from meguiars, and following the instructions to the letter.
Was i think, the best my car had looked to be honest. But i know some of that was the light at the time, trophy can look wierd in bright sun.
So i will be doing this again tommorow, if the weathers not too bad?

The megs 3 step is rubbish mate!!

Some of their trade stuff is spot on but thats where it ends IMO..

Their QD (can't remember the name) is a great over the counter product.

As for them being "rubbish" I think thats more than a little unfair, they produce a perfectly decent result with little effort which for most people is ideal.

Obviously you can get better and for the same money, but Megs wouldn't be where it is today if it was "rubbish".

Meguairs have a retail and a professional range.

Most of the retail products are manufactured to a price.

Zymol do the same. I have been told several times now that some of the Zymol products available in Halfords are made under licence by Turtlewax?

I use certain Meguiars products off the shelf, nothing wrong with them IMO, only overpriced if u buy them from the wrong place lol. Their professional range is very good compared to some producst I have used

They are ok compared to some off the shelf products I would still plump for the AG range if shopping in Halfords. Re. the Megs step range like everything in life there are better options.

  Tangoed Works
megs tyre gel ive found is excellent (the purple stuff). two coats of that and my tyres are still black even after a week and a half.

Looks good, till you drive it and then everything and their mothers stick to it!

Megs stuff - Quick clay is ok, #16, APC and last touch. Don't use any of their polishes, although i'm led to believe there very good.
