Afternoon all,
I was talking to a friend of mine about exhaust, we then came on to the subject of De-cat pipes and he said he once had a 206 gti with a decat pipe on and where the emmisions were wrong, the ECU chucked more petrol in to the engine causing it to get hotter and melting the valves in his case 15 out of the 16 valve in his gti.
Has any one else heard of this happening as i am now thinking about putting my cat back on!!
