Members/users with ph2 track cars get in here

Hi all
I was wondering could we get a list together of members/users who have track cars that has the ability to use headlights.

Bet you're thinking why, well as most of you are aware i've done a custom headlight with built in CAF but for thou's who's not aware here's a link.

I've been aproached by another member if i could do him a headlight with CAF built in as he says with knock hill when raining/poor visability they want you to use both headlight i know this is also same for nurburgring, I assume this is standard protacall for all tracks.

So i'm gauging interest if it's worth me doing these as a service/group buy either by selling the CAF on it's own or for the non handy people to fit it in there headlight.

Hello mate,

I have a road legal cup track car that I use at the nurburgring so I'm very interested in this. I run a v6 airbox so would need a 100mm feed if possible?
Also what sort of price are we looking at to get this carried out?

i'd be in obviously dependant upon price, looks like a top job you've done there

one fitted to the headlight for me please, how would you work it, on an exchange basis? or can you supply the full headlight with cold feed fitted (this would be best)

I wouldn't say I'm non-handy just not with fibreglass! a great believer in getting the right people to do what their good at.
Definately put me down on the list, I also run the V6 airbox but will be going to ITB some time next year.

Hi all

I havn't forgotten about this thread i'm working out prices for materials/time scale, Obviously the more people that wants it the cheaper it would be for everyone.

As for fitting this to your headlights it would be best if you could post yours to me i'll do the work and post back straight away, as the exchange principal works in theory but could get messy I.E you sending a mint lens and reciving a slightly faded/scrached one also insert colours and xenon/standard.

I measured the rear and it's just shy of 90mm to change it to 100mm would give major problems as its quite close to the height adjuster see pic, for thou's who have v6 airboxes i suggest using 100mm flexible ducting and using a cable tie to slightly fold it and hold it in place.

I'm not 100% sure, but don't think so all your effectively doing is supplying your air filter with a better flow of cold air.

Pmsl, I wouldn't put a cheap bucket under the bonnet not only is it a fire hazard. But with the size of it, it will still collect hot air from behind the radiator.

Why don't you try the KFC bucket much smaller Pmsl.
