Love it mate, had it 10 months now, I know CooperS-Boy so Im off for a test drive of his Hartge tuned car next weekend hopefully. Only thing is, I aint got £1700 lying around and I know Ill want it done after driving his

Only thing is its a dog on fuel, only get around 28mpg.

Im getting 36 mpg on mine and thats with a fair amount of red line action. Ive heard the Cooper S guzzles gas.

Look I didnt take it badly lads, just was expecting it to degenerate into a my car didnt win so Im going to sl*g off yours thread.

Wish Id seen it all, only flicked over to see the last couple of minutes cos I saw this thread.

Its running the S/C off the engine so I imagine that s what makes it so bad, I was getting around 30-32 with some motorway action but its all B & A roads these days.


Fitted a pipercross, so Ive been gunning it a bit too much recently to hear it roar.

i raced a cooper s @ knockhill it was fastg and did well around the bends and its mid range speed was good with the s/charger, but its just so cuddly looking, fast though!

I want a Hartge S after driving Cooper S boys car yesterday. Cant stop thinking about all that totally effortless power and the sound of the supercharger. Mmmmmmmmmm

yeah but have you seen the price of the BMW One, its fecking ridiculous! I can get a Z3 2.9 with the M - Power wheels, factory hard top and all the toys for 15K on an X plate, why would I pay 20K+ for a One?

I know alot of people like them but I just cant believe the price!

Can someone gimme the speeds of the base model cos I was amazed to find me beat one (purely on bends) the other day, was a classic as the guy asked "is that one of those 172 things?", hehehehe " more like 1.2 mate".

This has happened twice now, surely they aint that slow!

Base model MINI One is 90bhp I think. 110bhp for the Cooper and 160bhp for the S.
