The last one I saw as around 96 ish. The place I worked at the time got it ordered.

Along came 24 boxes full of Cd's. You get all the languages and about 2 different versions of everything.

When we got it, it was a pain in the arse as they were all in wallets, but no folders. Plus there would be one box with say windows 95 and office 95 in, but there would be 20 copies of each. one in english, one in mexican, one in chinese etc, so you had to sort through them and chuck 70% of the cd's out!

Mind you that was a long time ago.

It's a full time job sorting the buggers out, you get all sorts that you don't ever need, thought the colour coding does help.

thought it may be like technet and it seems it is lol ah well least it means free software for use at home according to ms as you can use the software at home that you run on your work pc they said

All sorts of rubbish. Some good stuff and usually new releases fair amount before street date.

You get given homo cord style wallets and then they come in sleeves along with a LOAD of rubbish and cds for promoting and explaning stuff

They come in a box, some are strapped together with rubber bands, and all are wrapped in irritating plastic :p

yes and no, you do get work at home rights but not on everything, only things like office etc and you can't just install from your select disc.

You need to log in to a special part of the MS website with your WAH rights benefits and order a special cd which costs about £15 i think and they ship it to you with a license key on it, a bit like oem software.

Then when you leave the company you need to uninstall it lol ;)

I think you only get WAH when you buy software assurance on the licensing though and its inly for the products you are licensed for etc.

there is info on the MS website about it though.

cool shall check it out i missed out on all the meetings when the group took out the agreement so missed all the info :(
