Midlands RRday@Viezu 2nd August

Hi

After the success of the RRday in March this year at Viezu in Bromsgrove we had 20+ cars run that day. With a great mix of cars from 172/182 to turbo Clio’s, s2000, EVO, typeR, Metros, Escort Cosworth and so on.

So a great day we had!


I have been asked by a fair few people when is the next one, due to modifications and new cars etc.

So we are booked in to do it on Saturday 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] August.


Have spoken with Jason at viezu and got the ok for that date, the usual Bacon rolls and tea and coffee shall be laid on.

I will be needing a deposit of £10 off everyone who is running and via PayPal.

PLEASE NOTE: Deposits shall need to be in 3 weeks before the date of the RRday. Anyone paying please ensure you put your full name and forum name so i can keep track who has and hasn’t paid.


This will be the first 20 deposits in my PayPal get to run on the day. So the longer it takes you to pay up the more chance you have of losing your space. This is also posted on an array of different forums so should fill up quick.

Great day out even if you don't want to run on the rollers

Was misfiring and running rough coming back from FCS and drove it pretty slowly most of the way home. Boy, that was fun.
Pretty sure it's just the coil pack but letting the guys at Brosport sort it out when they do my gearbox.

Failing that, its looking like the Focus might be going up the strip and on the rollers.
Actually it might be worth putting it some rollers before I have it mapped.

These bacon sarnies, any chance they could do something without dead animal in it? I ended up eating a bread roll with tomato sauce last time.

Yeah, they promised it will be ready for Santa Pod on the 21st so should make this np.

When pushing hard it often doesn't want to go into 3rd and sometimes jumps out. Can drive it normally but didn't really want to go up the strip in that condition.

While it's out I'm having a LSD fitted too, it was all lined up for an MFactory one but a couple of days before it was due to be delivered to Brosport they got a call saying they have decided not to release the Clio diff until August. Next thing I know, some fella from brum is on the forum asking for a couple of volunteers to have Mfactory diffs fitted..............

Never heard of mfactory tbf. Link? Just had my box rebuilt and decided against a diff! No need in my case as its a road go 'er.

They supplying the diff to you FOC for testing? Or reduced cost?...
