Hi all, i'm new to this forum and think it's only fair to show you my wheels.
Passed my driving test in january but didn't get the car till march..Picked it up for £250 looking like this.
Within 3 hours of buying it i let a friend park it and he managed to run the drivers rear quarter panel into the side of a classroom..as i'm doing vehicle bodywork and paint in college i soon had it out.
and as it was going to need re-spraying i decided to rid it off all rust and dents as well as flushing the boot, de-badging it and removing the plastic side strips.
After discovering the original bonnet was to stretched to not be dented i soon picked up a new one before painting it.
Whilst doing all this work i was pondering which look i wanted to get with the car, i settled on the mili-spec look as it was very different to the typical boy racer in my local area.
I then spent an afternoon putting it all back together.
and got some pic's with a good friends project.
After all of that work i still hadent driven it and just my luck, the mot had ran out...a rather large bill later i was on the road.
I then re-trimmed the parcel shelf.
I then gave it a name to go with the look...
And no it's not spelt wrong it's an abreviation of my name (matt jury)
I then put some temporary speakers in it
After that i got some angel eyes
then spent a few hours free hand spraying the bonnet
and re-trimmed the roof lining
also upgraded and re-trimmed the sounds
got a bit of bling
upgraded the bass again
then i got a few pics with a mate
more recently i picked up some 13x7 mattig steels
and this is how it's looking at the moment.
Opinions? and yes i know it needs lowering, thats next.
