milltek exhaust mod

found a thread talking about a cat mod to open up the milltek exhaust to its full 2.5" bore. Anyone shed any light on this?

Basically chops the flange of the cat up to allow a 2.5" bore pipe to be welded on to get better flow

sounds like a ball ache, surely de cattin it and finding a nice mot centre wold be easier. can't see me doin that any time soon!
