Having a hunt on piston heads and came across this beauty, would be great fun i think got a real soft point for old mini's

Didnt know that had been rebuilt, it died quite dramatically in a hillclimb crash many years ago.

Was in one of the mini mags about 15 years ago, kept with a mclaren F1 upto 100mph IIRC when they were testing it at brunters or somewhere like that.

Yes mate, ive still got a couple in fact, one 998cc one, and one with an 1800 vauxhall lump on twin 40s that is a part finished project I started in the 1990s!

Longer term its a mini that I will end up with as my keep forever trackday car, the clios are a temporary distraction really.
