Yeah, a couple were made, pretty much custom everything.

Body had to be chopped, new panels, new doors, custom mounts for the suspension etc...

Massively complicated job, but they look pretty funky.

had to replace the engine for a much slimmer unit as well - probably a bike engine, do to the shortened engine bay as well

To be fair though I have seen several miniature vw campervans etc in the flesh and if there was one or two of these I would have believed it. Still pretty cool pics
