for all that time and effort they can only sell it for less then 5k. Its nice but just not worth the time and effort.

oops I meant XR2i obviously, yeah not worth the effort but a bit of a bargain at the price I reckon.

I personally think that that car is pretty much depreciation proof.

Obviously providing its kept like that.

I put those wheels on mk2 fiesta ghia back in the day, rolling on 13's :) They did look good on it though.

Im sure this car has been for sale for ages - I seem to remember seeing it on Pistonheads months and months ago!

If it was an RS Turbo I would have bit his hand off. The 2i was a bit pants though.

Still in that condition I would have thought it's worth a lot more.

Its still £4000 too expensive and under its mint-ness lies a bog standard XR2i

If it was a mk2 XR2 or RS Turbo, even a Escort XR3i it would be in much much higher demand
