i fitted a decat the other week to my 2002 172 (as im planning to get a full cat back system shortly) and since then the car is suffering from a very frustrating misfire.
its normally after being at highish revs ie 70-80-90mph in fifth then slowing down to 40ish. sometimes i can come off a motorway and up to the roundabout and even pulling off in first it misfires until the revs build up meaning a very slow and sometimes dangerous start!!
the engine management light came on for a little while but has since gone off. it idles well and like i say the misfire isnt too bad just frustrating and something i obviously want sorted!
any ideas???
