Misfire ??

Can anyone possibly give me a list of issues that may cause a fault code showing a misfire, obviously i know there is going to be a fair few but just want to know and work through the list, in the easiest and cheapest order,

Sparks,leads,coil pack, injectors.

Just out of curiosity is it straight forward to change injectors on the 172 ??

Very. Take off the fuel rail guard with a 10mm deep socket, then unbolt the fuel rail and disconnect the fuel line, its under pressure so will spray fuel if your not careful. then just wriggle like a mad man until the injectors and rail are free.

And way of finding out myself which injector is pooped if any ??

Leave the engine running and unplug each injectors wiring and see if the idle gets worse usually points you in the right direction.
