missfire.

Hello all,

My 172 has developed a missfire in low reps when under load, I have changed the coil pack but it's still there. I'm working it in for plugs and Leeds next week ad I'm away from home so can't do anything myself. I'm near hms collingwood near portsmouth if anyone knows anywhere. How much should I be paying for plugs, Leeds and diagnostics.

Is there anything else it could be? And what should .br checked first?

Replacing plugs and leads isn't difficult, but the cost of the materials might be. I've got 4x NGK's in mine which cost £38. No idea how much my Prospark leads were but doubt they were cheap. As for diagnostics, again, that could be dependant on the place doing the work.

But labour charges shouldn't be too bad at all.

I'm sticking with standard renault kit and main dealer for the work. It may cost me but I'm away from my tools so can't do myself.

Rentech I believe are in Portsmouth who I have heard nothing but good things about. Don't take it to Renault.
