missfiring

well as most of you know i made a thread about my car missfiring and i had to call the aa out to day and they said ive lost compression on pot1 and they think it could be a valve is this easy to fix? any help would be appreciated! thanks adam...

It's a head off job, spring compressor malarky, Not for the faint hearted.
retiming once repaired etc...
