Missing traction control?

nowt to worry about, i turn mine of every day and have to deal with a shitty orange light blinding me :<

i'm not sure but can't you just add it coz if you look behind the cover where t/c should be there are spare plugs

I used to love switching it off in my 182.Cant remember the 172 if it had it or not...

Lol at the traction control haters!

99% of drivers wouldn't know if their traction control was working or not! :)

I'm not a hater I think its essential on higher powered cars but its so easy not to wheelspin in a cliosport I just dont see why they need it.

Never needed it in my 172, comes on quite often in the 182 though

It's not just traction control - it's ESP. If you ever get into difficulty in adverse conditions, or for example, have to swerve out the way of something whilst braking, it's a lifesaver.

Traction control and ESP ftw.

Make sure you buy one with cruise control as well. None of this poverty business!

Agreed . All this waffle about being for losers and not needing it . I never had it on my 172 , have it on my 182 and it makes sod all difference to my driving experience .

I'm sure some people on here haven't got a clue what they're on about sometimes :quiet:

I think they all had TC, it was only in 2002 or 2004 I think that ESP became standard.

Pretty sure I test drove a 51 or 02 and felt like it had TC kicking in cos of crap worn tyres.

That's a really good looking example from the photos, fair price too. I may be wrong but the steering wheel isn't melted so it's already got plus points! Word of warning though, check if the cambelts been done, I can't remember what mileage it should be done but it should've been done last year due to age at least and it's a very expensive job.

Also, the standard wheels are 16", not 17" as the advert says.

Mines a 2002 51 plate and doesn't have traction control
