missing wire?

Hey

Looking at the engine today iI noticed a wire looks like it's missing?
Looks like this sensor should have a yellow and green wire but only the yellow is present.

does anyone know what that is and if there is a missing wire. If there is is it something I need to address sharpish?

What's it for exactly? Seems odd only one wire

It's the "I'm not working" lamp wire as he's says it's a single wire the other is a simple blank/ rubber bung to stop ingress
