I popped up to Castle combe afew weeks ago for the MLR trackday. Wet , windy and dull weather and some good track action

This is a quick video of some of the days action and a nasty crash at quarry with a Golf Gti and an Xr2

I reckon in the 100+ times i've been there, i've seen well over 100 crashes!!

Mainly involving Quarry!

I can't believe how slow some where going round there and still spinning...is the surface bad on that particular section...I know at Oulton Druids is pretty bad in the wet....different surface for some reason

Im glad I weren't the only one thinking that!! I haven't drove an evo in anger but have been in a fair few being driven bloody hard. That corner looked like the perfect corner for an evo, great for 4 wheel drifts/slides!! If an evo's back end kicks out, you keep the right foot planted on the throttle, not the bloody brakes!

Even the GTR didn't seem to go round that fast, only the white evo was successful at speeeed. :S

I think the weather was quite a bit worse than what the camera would suggest. Having said that, still a case of all the gear, no idea! It is amazing how they can't even work out opposite lock at those slow speeds, yet they are the same mongs who bomb it around on B-roads thinking they are kings.

I've been on a trackday with the Nissan GTROC and they were laughably slow.

A 4WD car must be the easiest thing in the world to catch at least even if you dont do an heroic powerslide. As I say all the gear....absolutely no idea.
