Mk 1 172 coolant

hi i am new to clio sport, just bought my 172 mk1 just had a new radiator put in today the temperature gauge does not stay in the middle when driving but does when sationary, any ideas.

Air in system? Was it bleed after rad change??

Faultly Termostat?

Need more info really, does the guage go higher when driving? does the fan kick in? why was the rad changed? e.t.c

Hi it does not go higher when driving, i think it could be air in the system. I am going to get some more coolant because it has droped. rad was changed had hole in it just after i got it. lol
