MK 2 172 - Electrical Faliure Light keeps Illuminating

My 172 has developed a problem, usually when hitting a bump in the road. The orange electrical faluire light ( box with the wiggly lines in it) comes on and the power is completely cut. If I turn off the ignition off and turn the ignition back on, the car is then fine, until I hit another bump!!!!

Any ideas anyone!!!!!

Somethings putting it into limp mode, could be anything though. You need to get the fault code read to give you an idea whats causing it.

Not necessarily, the AA can read/reset fault codes.
