Mk 2 Ph 1 lowering suspension help?

hey, i've recently been looking at lowering my car by about 30-40mm, ive seen some people just buying springs or shocks and im really not sure whats the best thing to do.
my cars a 1.2 16v 2001 mk2 ph 1.
im looking at something that is a good price and will do the job.

these will give a good stance, and ride without having to change the shocks
