Raincatcher, essential or not really?

want a bonnet but it has no raincatcher, i dont want tonnes of water coming through the vent n f**king up my engine

I saw it earlier

The rain catcher part is bloody huge! You could probably make one to direct it away to the manifold area from some sheet metal.

yeah i was thinking that, ill put some paper on the engine and see what actually gets wet by spraying a hosepipe in the air, if nothing important gets wet i wont bother

Good idea, you just want it to direct water away from anything major. You could go for a fibre glass one if you wanted I imagine they can be picked up for pennies now!
