Mk1 172 bulbs

One of my bulbs has gone again and I'm getting conflicting reports as to what size I need.

Its the light that's on whan you just turn the lights on, so I guess that's dipped beam, it's not the bulbs when you whack the stalk back and blind everyone.

Powerbulbs say that dipped beam is an H7 bulb, but the one I've pulled out is an HB3 9005??

Obviously I need an HB3 9005 as that's what's been pulled out, but am I getting the names mixed up or are powerbulbs wrong?

It's the bulb that feeds the dome like lens in the dual optic headlights.

Powerbulbs sounds like there getting mixed up with the phase 2's if you taken a HB3 out then replace it with a HB3.

I mailed powerbulbs last year to get them to fix it, mailed them again they said they will soon
