MK1 172 Clutch

Recently bought a phase 1 172 sport. Enjoying it apart. But the clutch which is a pain in the ass in traffic. Its like an on/off switch & have come close to stalling. Are they all like this.

Same. Mines easy. Pedal feels fairly springy and clutch control is easily managed.
