mk1 172 --fuel comp resetting

hello

has any other mk1 172 owner had the same problem and if so what have you done about it???

on start up every now and then the fuel computer display resets itself,just as if i had pressed the reset button,i faint buzz sound seems to sound behind the clocks at the same time... my dealer is as helpfull as always "unless we see it happen theres nothing we can do about it" seems to be their standard reply....

Never had that prob with mine........is your Clio a import?

all clios are imports built at the same factory so why would the place the lad bought the motor make any difference???
