Mk1 172 MOT Issue

Just called the garage who are currently MOTing my car.

They have noticed that the rear wheels are fouling the inner wheel arch liner so currenty cannot pass it.

I know the offset of the Mk1 172 rims means that it runs close and Ive told them its a known problem but Id be interested to see how other members got around it?

Always passed fine for me, due to get MOT done soon so shall see if they pick it up and let you know!

Take the arch liner out for the MOT!

Surely if its standard then they cannot fail it.

just remove the arch liners if theyre being arsey 5min job
