mk1 air filter oil leak

sounds strange yes? no one anywhere can help me so i thought id give it a try here, my breather pipe which was going into my k & n spits out lots of oil when in high revs or.. medium revs.. so i took it out and put a crappy £2 filter just on the breather pipe to stop my k & n getting bunged up but can anyone suggest why it is doing this?

I get a bit of oil going into my piperx as well, think its normal?

it is normal for a bit, but this is loads, leaves lots of stains everytime im parked, very annoying

Does your standard air filter do the same? Have you checked its the same when its running standard?

how many miles has it done? it sounds like its breathing heavily, poss worn piston rings etc! probably not much you can do with out mega expensive! a very small amount is normal!
