Mk1 Clio Upgraded stereo whilst keeping steering wheel controls.

  1.4 rt Clio 1993
Hello all, I’m looking to upgrade my Clio mk1 stereo to one that can connect with Bluetooth. I’m not sure what ones I can install whilst keeping the volume controls on the steering column. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

What about a Bluetooth FM receiver? They’re only a tenner and work really well.

Do they? The ones I’ve used were utterly s**t. I changed it to a Bluetooth module that replaced the cd changer in our old Audi which was tons better, not sure if that is an option for the Clio.

Yes I have heard mixed things from the Bluetooth modules but I would ideally like to replace the stereo.
In that case get a Pioneer Bluetooth mechless unit. They’re about the simplest to use. Some manufacturers make things impossible to use when you’re driving!
But then get yourself a wiring adapter for the hand controls and you’re golden.
(If you’re still on standard speakers they will last about 5 songs)
