I can't find it now but someone, somewhere recently suggested to me that the Mk1 Cup racers had a different manual steering rack to the road cars' manual racks.
Is this the case?
I'm considering a manual conversion to replace what I think is a failing power set up but from what I've heard the normal road car manual racks have more turns lock-to-lock, which I don't really want.
Did the cups have higher gearing and less turns?
I know a few people on here are running cups for trackcars, and I don't know if Tony Hunter(?) or others used to race them back in the day?
All help very much appreciated!
