mk1 engine swap

hey, ive got a mk1 phase 3 clio 1.4 RT automatic . . .

the gear box light is on and its stuck in 4th gear says the mechanic, its like as much as i bought the car for a few months ago to get and fit a new gear box.

i wont to convert it to manual anyways so if anyone can help me with prices for decently powerful engines and the best place i can get parts to make it manuall.

my brothers a ace with cars so i can get the work done for free

get a written of williams, and do the swap. you get everything you need then. it's just a straifht swap. ie suspension, engine, subframe, ecu etc.

or just buy another car, but what he said is probably your best bet if your intent on going that way

although valver engines are cheap (MK1 1.8 16v), my advice would be buy another car
