Mk1 Ph3 conversion to Mk Ph1 or 2

Been thinking about changing the front end from

I've been told it's do-able, just bumper, lights & bonnet need doing but not sure myself. Anybody know if it is or know anyone who's had it done?

yea im sure ive seen this done before! but i think you need to change the front wings too!

it can be done mate BUT you dont really need the front bumper...it can stay as the phase 3 bumper, to make it look half decent you need 16valve wings and 16valve bonnet, you can still do it without the wings but it looks s**t ..you also need phase 1/2 lights which i have on ebay at the minute

they are not angel eyes like the one in the pics, but they came off that car

alternatively......the front end of ur phase 3 dont look too bad so you could just buy a valver bonnet and get a body shop to shap the front of it to match the headlights(which would cost you about the same as the suggested front end conversion and possibly a lot less)
