Mk1 widetrack vs. Mk2

For a track car what would you go for and why? A Mk1 widetrack with 172 bits or a Mk2

Mk2 is so much easier to just buy and use straight away.

​Not like theyre expensive either now.

mk2, shocks and springs rear suspension is better than torsion bar

and most mk1 shells need saving from rust! lol

mk1s look better though

As above the mk2 backend is better.
That said the mk1 is lighter and wins on looks.

Overall even as a mk1 fanboy I have to grudgingly admit the mk2 is the better car!
