MK2 door panel speaker sizes

Im getting a CD player next week and want to upgrade the front door panel speakers. I think they are 13cm speakers but just wanted to check.
What make does anyone recommend too??

13cm or 5.25" are correct what is your budget? Best to get a good set of components. Rainbow are a good choice.

^ or boston acoustics. both decent units apparently...However there's a chap on here sellin DLS or something, Dalco_typeR?? or something like that. Has some nice stuff and sells at a decent price too! Food for thought

Crystal or the higher spec Rainbow for me at the minute

but DLS, Genesis andBoston are worth a look, unlike many, i do not recommend Focal, they are too top heavy

also, it's nice to see that JBL have given us the GTi series back, a few years ago, they were considered to be excellent speakers, this current crop, is no exception
