Mk2 Ph1 Lowering...amount and pics?

  Clio Mk 2 Ph1
Hi people.

I'm looking to lower the Clio. I'm full stop not having a 60mm kit because the car does at least once week have 4 people in it, so would become impractical around town. I've been looking at 35mm kits (well, 35mm front/30mm rear), but have seen on the Renault forums big discussions on how it doesn't end up looking any different.

Does any body have any post-lowering Mk2 Ph1 pictures, or just a standard Clio Mk2 lowered 30/35mm? Here's ours at the moment: as you can see, it'd make a good off-roader

Any pics on a 35mm drop would be good. Cheers!

A good link and some good pics there, cheers. 40mm doesn't seem initially to make a huge difference does it? So perhaps I should be looking for 40mm kits and not 35's...

Although, I know springs bed in. When I had my 480, I lowered it 40mm, and when we checked the sill to ground clearance before I sold it, it had actually dropped to 49mm. I'm just wondering what 35's will look like bedded in, especially as the front arch comes up really high round the front wheel.

Back to eBay to look at 40's I think!

They are the ones I've been looking at, but an update down the bottom of the listing states that the manufacturer has changed the spec, so it's now 35fr/30rear.

I liked those as they were a bit more in my price range! There's no immediate hurry-i would like to have ordered some by the end of the week though...I'll have to keep trawling I guess!
