Mk2 Ph2 wheel offset

Does anybody know the standard offset for a 1.2 16v 15" alloy wheel.

I have just looked at the reciept for my 17's and the offset is ET40 and I'm guessing I should have got ET37 insted. lol

What is the difference with putting an ET37 on as this is a common mod.?????

they'd just stick 3mm further out.
