"Renault may have slipped up by not fitting a flexible lip to the base of that spoiler. Cracked fibreglass could be the result of overeager meetings with speed bumps".
Ive been told this isnt such a problem on the MK2 as the underneath of the front bumper is much higher off the ground ?
tom1600 - if you live in Milton Keynes and drive into London you really cant avoid them - have already had one "whisper" with a speed bump - but I agree almost 100% with what Piston Heads say - at least with all the good points !!! We tested 2 Evo VIIs - Im really glad we ended up with the Vee !!!
its a shame that I have to work in order to afford it - otherwise I would just drive, and drive, and drive and drive - it is indescribable !!!!
Theres one road near me with those bumps that have one in each lane and they take up about 3/4 of the lane each - Ive seen a Boxter and an M3 beached on on of them bumps before. The cars have such wide tracks and low ride that the wheels can go either side of the bump, ending up with the underside caught on the top. I doubt the V6 would fare much better. They should be illegal (the bumps!).
I paid that for much dynamique splitter..i literally have to roll over speed bumps..have come close to having a crash so many times where people behind dont realise im going so slowly.
