went in the local dealership today in birmingham and spotted a modified clio mk3 must say they are very nice with decent alloys on, could do with lowering but im suprised i feel this way about it, pictures reali dont do it any justice at all, its not as "upright" looking in person and inside feels nice and spacious i think itll cope on motorways beter as the mk2 is awful on long journeys imo i cant do more than 2hrs. one thing tho the seats dont offer much side support tho i guess the new RS will sort that. other than that very good car! go check em out, ignore the small wheels on the base models this car needs at least 16/17s to look in proportion.

I had a derv one on friday as a courtesy car while the cup was being serviced.
The steering was horrible no feed back at all and I didn't fit in it!! I had to roll back the sun roof blind and stick me head in the recess (is that spelt reet!!). Rest of it felt better bolted together and spacious just with a lack of head room.

ha perfect excuse for putting bigger wheels on it!! yea the seats are bit high with all renaults, feels lik your sitting on them instead of in them if u get my drift. noticed a strange bar in the roof of the model i sat in with no sunroof. does make the mk2 seem old tho, why gosh its been out for lik 8 years now? may hav to book a test drive some time too.
