Depends what type of driving your doing. I travel 60 miles a day down A roads for work and average around 40-43 Monday to Friday but round town and bits on a weekend you looking mid to late 20sWhat is real life MPG like in the 220 Trophy?
I currently drive a Stage 3 S3 (480bhp) - although it returns decent mpg for the performance, it isnt sustainable with my daily commute long term hence why I am looking at these
Is this accurate?

I was buying an s3 until I changed jobs and got the miles.. so i started looking at the smaller hatchs tested an St tested an arbarth compitizioni and a 208 gti but I needed it to do both miles daily and smiles at the weekend with the auto for every day the trophy made sense and in standard form would beat all of them for speed. The gearbox in standard drive auto is probably not as smooth as the audi dsg but I'm race mode and locked in manual it's as really good as good as anything I've drove.Should have said driving style - be quite like yourself, I work 25/26 miles away so 50+ mile round trip with a couple trips over the weekend
Drive to work would be calm/with traffic with the odd full throttle on a brief section of dual carriageway (bcuz why not!). Home time would be a bit more spirited but recently keeping it calm due to fuel costs.
Would probably be better off in a diesel but where is the fun in that. I am after a modern car which returns decent mpg but also can be a great drive - sadly my S3 ticks these boxes but at £105 a week in fuel, it isnt sustainable long term!
I use mine (ph1 200t) as an instructor car so lots of town driving, stop start, idling etc and I get 32mpg. On a motorway run I’ll easily see 40+.What is real life MPG like in the 220 Trophy?
