as you all know i own a 1.2 8v love it but have come to my senses and realise its pointless tuning it reallyy
ok so wot to get a 1.6 16v mk 2 or wait till im 21 and get renault 5 gtt or 172 cup cumon guys tell me what you think and what are the 1.6 16v like compared to a pug 106 gti cheers scotty

I'm not sure mate. I'm only 18 and got insured on a valver fairly cheap. I did have 2 years NCB though and used a few tricks. Shop around and get some quotes...

Personally I'd go for the 106 GTI if I hadn't driven either as I think they look quite 'cool', and meant to be quite nippy. They don't come cheap though.

av drove a 106 gti and the feel unsafe over 40 really sketchy compared to a fast clio

lol a 1.6 16v clio wouldnt touch a 106 gti or vts they are in a league on there own, a reggy 5 gt turbo is alot of maintenance costs and a 172 cup is the quickest of the lot standard and good fun.
