mocal brake lines

  Astra coupe t, nova
I've just fitted some mocal brake lines to the clio. However the fronts ones don't fit right. When you do up the pipe to hose nut it bottoms out before the movement stops in the flare nut. So it would leak if I left it fitted like this. Is this a common problem? Think I may cuy the std fitting and re flare it with one that fit the hose:)

If there the one's I think your talking about i.e. the one's Fred supplied me, there should be a copper crush washer that sorts out this problem.

For future problems:
Basically I need to change my fitting. Not the hoses it's due to the fitting straight bit not being straight anymore.

Direct from think mate. I don't have any problems with the line. Had another look last night and it's the flare nuts fault. It seems to have ridden slightly over the flared part so doesn't seal right on the new lines. The old one has re sealed though. Think i'm gonna go for a cup master cylinder soon now and remake the lines. Kind of wish I didn't sell all my -3 lines and pieces now lol
