A lot of poeple want somehting noiser than Renault have.Quote: Originally posted by mauricewt on 22 April 2004
Surely its not worth putting a new exhaust on it as Renault have basically done that already.
Dont really want the engine tickering with so I was thinking an induction kit (pipercross viper maybe) and chip might be a good investment. What would be a realistic BHP gain from those two on the 182 ?
Id recomend a proper custom remap on a unichip or external ECU much better gains plus its made up for your car and what you want ie more low end power etc. Same price as well.Quote: Originally posted by mauricewt on 22 April 2004
I was thinking superchip for the simple reason that they have been around for years .. unless another is highly recommended

Each to there own. Yep they will change there maps for you but an exteral chip can be remaped again for other mods.Quote: Originally posted by Roamer on 22 April 2004

As stated a number of times previously "Superchipping" need not be a one-hit-wonder, they can modify the map to suit your mods and requirements, London Superchips (Above Power Engineering) will do this no bother... some people dont want an external box stuck the engine bay.... others dont mind, horses for courses and all that jazz.
