Mods for the 182

  Audi S3 225

wont the standard mods, like decat, airfilter, chip fit from the 172? i no exhaust wont but i would have thought the rest shouldnt be that much different!

But i dont own either so im probably wrong.

Depends what you wnt there nothing particular but you culd get airfilters/ IK.

Mods for the 172 should work fine though.

The 182 has a less restrictive cat than the 172 so decat may be not as effective.

Surely its not worth putting a new exhaust on it as Renault have basically done that already.

Dont really want the engine tickering with so I was thinking an induction kit (pipercross viper maybe) and chip might be a good investment. What would be a realistic BHP gain from those two on the 182 ?

I was thinking superchip for the simple reason that they have been around for years .. unless another is highly recommended

Id recomend a proper custom remap on a unichip or external ECU much better gains plus its made up for your car and what you want ie more low end power etc. Same price as well.

Yawn.....

As stated a number of times previously "Superchipping" need not be a one-hit-wonder, they can modify the map to suit your mods and requirements, London Superchips (Above Power Engineering) will do this no bother... some people dont want an external box stuck the engine bay.... others dont mind, horses for courses and all that jazz.

Each to there own. Yep they will change there maps for you but an exteral chip can be remaped again for other mods.

Dont want to get anyone annoyed so I did put my recomendation down.

Superchip have advantages and disadvantages just like external ecu you have to decide what you want.

Didnt you have your exteral ecu mapped by them down at there main place?
