Modus vs Clio

Which parts do they share? Anyone know?

I want to fit my 172 cup coilovers, my 172 wheels/spacers and a 197 steering wheel/airbag to my 2007 Renault Modus dci 86.

Does anyone know if this is possible??

Don't ask me why. Other than I have the parts and it won't cost me anything.

It may share some of the same hardpoints but I'd be amazed if the hubs were compatible with Clio suspension.

Possible though of course.

It's Renault. They have no imagination.. Or money.
errrrr..

You mean the Renault of THIS era?

because that foresaw what hot hatches would become a decade before it happened, cost a fuckton to make and is amazing....in fact, I think it may even be smaller than a 200T

Of course, it was ruined by having no diesel option and french electrics.
Also, no cup pack, so virgins wouldn't buy it

Get a 182 engine in the nose of it too for good measure.

I'm very suprised this hasn't been done already. I toyed with the idea back when I had money, but didn't have the ability to do it myself so left it.
I reckon it would look good though on coilovers but put some 182 wheels on too.

I'm sure I read that someone on here was doing something like that /\ a while back.

May have been a kangoo come to think of it.

There will be no engine conversions. Not interested in spending money on a car I use for work.

If I can fit this other stuff for free though, happy days!

I think you've just solved my problem of what euro shitbox to buy my ageing mother, obviously minus the ast's and turinis

I like them, does it have that split boot thingy, which was something like a £500 option!:fearscream: Some bird with one opposite at a crèche has one with it.

does 90mph on the motorway comfortably, is £30 a year tax, less than £200 a year insurance and does 60mpg. With air con.
What more do I need for work?

And today I had an engine in the boot.

You make a convincing argument, I'm looking for a £1k daily jalopy

The equivalent age Clio (57 plate) would have been £1000 more for a ropey one.
And it's pretty much the same car. It just looks s**t.
