money to spend on my cup

i have £2000 pound to spend on my cup what engine work would you suggest i get done any help would be great !!!!!:D

well my service, SMT6, viper +fitting came to nearly 1k, I'd get exhaust from prospeed (£300) next. dont know if sports cat / decat / 182 manifold is worth the money.

sports cat will cost around £300.

Just go to GDI, you will see 200bhp for that sort of money, including all of the above, surely?

I'd spedn it on brakes and suspension first but for tunning I'd save another £1.5k and get throttle bodies if you want to spend that much cams second level manifold work 182 exhaust manifold decat exhaust IK and a remap.

dont!! its a CUP keep it standard dude, there becoming less and less of them every week!!!! save the cash for ya next motor

each is slighly different... its not just about the bhp chaps...... its about the delivery...

ask anyone thats had the conversion done.... it makes it very different to drive..

i dont see a downside in terms of it being a cup.... all the changes are under the surface so it can be made to look std.

TBH i take it back yeah so what if its a CUP you can always put it back to std, i wouldn't mind some full fat seats and door cards but with trophy recaro's up front? There's over a grand straight away...
 
I would say coilovers is one of the best mod's you can make to any car. Your car will be so much quicker if it handles like a go-kart.

I agree.

coilovers (H&R)
manifold match and SMT
custom exhaust if there is enough left over?

if its totally standard as above coilovers first, then get some advice from GDI as to how far you want to tune your car, so as to know what to get done first.
 
If you do want to continously mod it, smt is a must really. Your car will run like crap if you heavily mod it and don't remap the ecu.

you can remap the std ecu for much less using one of several companies

Pmurray
chip wizzards etc etc
