ClioSport 172 Cup
Anyone else got problems with the stainless catback Mongoose system?? Bought my 172 cup recently and previous owner had had a mongoose system fitted. I dunno why but it keeps dropping out of the square rubber backbox renault mount! Ive had the backbox off and tried refitting it but it looks as though the arm they weld to the backbox isnt really long enough so it doesnt really go far enough through the hole on the rubber mount, it literally just sits in the hole on the mount, doesnt even come out the other side! I had to put a bungy strap around the backbox as a temporary measure because everytime the engine fires up it just pushes the box out the mount. I looked online and this kit appears to be specifically made for the clio sport, is it just a crap made exhaust system or is something wrong somewhere with the way mine has been setup??
