hey i was wondering how hard it would be to mount a touchscreen monitor here. i have done a rubbish photoshop job!

monitor.jpg

anyone got any ideas how hard it would be? im guessing i would have to fibreglass it!

I made a pikey mdf leather covered console that sat in there for my clock display. Depends how good you want it to look.

i cant see the pic u haveposted but i have a pic of a mint one at home ill post when i get in tonight

the monitor i down where the cup holders are so will have to move the 12V adaptor and the obd-II port

you would have to look down at it which would be gay i think. put it in the radio and the hazard panel bit

how much is it for a monitor touch screen with an operating system built in also with usb output for the obd port.
Then you can display the engine paramaters using fastchip program. :P

what i am going to do is get a touchscreen and a small computer mounted under the passenger seat from mp3car.com.
i already have a elm interface to connect to my obd-ii. i love that thing!
so total price will be about £350

i know im just concentrating on the monitor at the mo cause i can just plug my laptop in for the moment

To make it look really OE get the sat nav top dash & use that. Costly but it looks great. Other than that (as said) test your skills at making a surround etc.
