Monkey Island

Car  MK2 PH2 & E46 330
Anyone ever play this game? or one of them. I played 3-4. had to use a walkthrough a couple of times, but probably two of the best games I've ever played.

Really hope they bring out a 5th one eventually.

haha. mate 3 and 4 are SOO good.
theyv been out for about a million years.

4 is on the ps2 and PC.

cost you about a pound in game i rekon. haha.

WOW, I am so going out on a mission tomorrow to get the whole series, I wont return until I have them!!

scummvm.

If you liked monkey island then give "Day of the Tentacle" a go (best game ever!) and "Sam and Max".

the original monkey island series are some of the best games ever made. Used to love all the lucasarts games - sam and max/day of the tentacle are genuis

Bump!

Does anyone know if the Monkey islands work on Vista ok? I havent got vista yet but I probably will have soon ish

Same for Sam and Max/Day of the Tentacle

How old is this thread!! Reading it, then realised I posted. I never returned with the games either :(

Sam and Max was quality!

What was the other game with the Biker guy and the Rabbits on a mine filed? That was awesome!

Monkey Island 1 and 2 are two of the best games of that type ever made. I remember getting hold of a beta copy of 2 from a mate as US Gold. To say I was popular with Amiga owners at the time was an understatement. lol

"a rubber chicken with a pully in the middle, what possible use could that have?"

3 was rubbish, 4 was better.

DOTT and Sam and Max were pure genius too.

The new series of Sam and Max games are fantastic too, really funny and well written.

I used to have them on Amiga.

Its wierd how I haven't played them for maybe ten years, but as soon as i saw the title, I straight away thought

Guybrush Threepwood!

ledge.. didnt Monkey 2 have something like 12 discs?... ha whats that, about 13meg?

Yeah 12 discs on the Amiga. When I got hold of my copy of it they were still deciding whether or not to release a game due to it being on 12 discs.
