More HorsePower for an older car

Hi, I own a Clio mk2 phase 1 from 1999, and was wondering how i cold add a couple of HorsePower without blowing my budget? It is a 1.2 liter engine making 60 HorsePower

Don’t waste your money. Nothing you do to that engine will make it go any faster.

You can't add power, but stick a K&N 57i or similar cone intake on it, won't add power, but it'll sound hilarious on the throttle.

Blew the engine in Mm car, and am now wondering how easy it is to swap to a new engine. What engine did you replace it with? It looks like a K7M 1,6 liter?

How did you blow up the engine? Try to get more power out of a 1.2?

Not quite sure, but i had not done anything with the engine. The mechanic i had look at it said it was a coolant problem. It would not keep coolant, and had a lot of vapor coming through the exhaust.
