more power to a 1.4 ?

long story is that i might be going from a 1.6 to a 1.4

anyway to give a 1.4 a little more power ?
filter?
freeflow exhaust ?

anything you can reccomend that doesn't affect the waranty ??

or am I being a bit picky - will I be happy with a 1.4 ?
